Soccer Robotic Competition

Last Sunday together we accompany Adit to a mall. He attended a Soccer Robotic Competition and finally got 1st prize winner.
I wrote about my kids activities on this school holiday a week ago. The boys take a Robotic course. It seems like I pay for my guilty for not let them have a Play Station Games Set at home :)
I hope it’s not…
I found this robotic course is good for him since he should learn about kinesthetic, creativity, problem solving, build robotic mechanical and the most important is the boys should move around not just sit !

Thank you for all your wonderful comments... I get so frustrated that I can't just reply on email... when I read them because of blogger... I haven't decided what I will do about it over the long run... but I will have to do something eventually...
I think robotics are so wonderful for boys... My older boys were really into robotics and making things... I had one boy that would tear up old electronic things to see what made them work:)~ I agree with you about not letting kids sit around all day... It is much better to be up moving around...

I have a question for you... It is about batik fabric... I have some fabric from Tahiti... and it feels wonderful and looks like it might be batik... but I can't tell for sure if it is or just a print... Do you know how it to tell?

That sounds like a fun education program.

Shelly,
It is very difficult for a non-expert to tell the difference between real and imitation batik. if the color of the design is stronger on one side of the cloth than another, that means it is imitation. But that isn't necessarily true: many factories use high-penetration dyes that color both sides equally, while some batik has been waxed on only one side, giving the opposite effect.
Maybe you could see this website for further information : http://www.expat.or.id/info/batik.html

Tam,
yes it was really fun for the kids
